King's Lynn Stars owner Buster Chapman will sell the club if they are promoted to the Elite League after disagreeing with the way the competition is run.

The Elite League pairs competition at the Norfolk Arena was postponed due to weather conditions but Chapman is convinced the track was rideable.

And if the Stars win the Premier League he wants no part of top-level Speedway.

"King's Lynn will be in it, but I won't," a disillusioned Chapman told BBC Radio Norfolk.

He added: "I honestly couldn't deal with that. Once the enjoyment factor has gone, there's no point in me being in it."

The Stars begin a sequence of races with three meetings in the next three days.
