Peterborough Panthers team manager Trevor Swales has suggested rider Kamil Brzozowski may be dropped after recent poor form. Panthers stormed to a 56-39 victory over Lakeside on Thursday, however the Pole failed to score a single point for the third time in three meetings. Swales told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "Kamil's struggling, he doesn't seem to be getting out of the starts. "We'll talk about things, we can't have riders scoring no points." It was a much better evening for Australian Troy Batchelor who put his recent struggles behind him to record a score of 12, paid 13, despite suffering from a virus and toothache. | Every team's there to be beaten but it's not going to be an easy job by any stretch of the imagination Peterborough team manager Trevor Swales on Wolverhampton |
There were also double-figure point hauls for Kenneth Bjerre, Rory Schlein and Krzysztof Buczkowski as Peterborough continued to remain unbeaten at home this season. With only one away win since the beginning of the campaign though, Swales is eyeing a pivotal victory at Wolverhampton on Monday. "You have to go with every intention of winning," he said. "Every team's there to be beaten but it's not going to be an easy job by any stretch of the imagination." Panthers and Wolves are level on points but the Midlanders are ahead in third spot on points difference.
