Scott Redding signs 2010 Moto2 deal with Mark VDS team
Redding was third in the 2009 125cc Moto GP at Donington
Quedeley's Scott Redding will ride for the Mark VDS team in the 2010 Moto2 World Championship.
The 17-year-old has signed a deal to move from the 125cc class in Moto GP and will start testing for Michael Bartholemy's team next month.
Redding said: "I've spoken to Michael Bartholemy a few times and the whole set-up seems ultra-professional.
"I saw the bike during its initial tests so it will be interesting to see how it has evolved."
Redding has already made his mark in the sport by becoming the youngest rider ever to win a Grand Prix when he took victory in the 125cc race at Donington Park in 2008 aged just 15.
Bartholemy said: "Scott is a very talented young rider who maybe didn't have the machinery on which to show his true potential in 2009, but I have every confidence he will have a major impact on the Moto2 World Championship in its inaugural season."
