Oxfordshire 125cc rider Bradley Smith wants to claim his maiden Grand Prix win with two races left racing for his Polaris World team.

The 17-year-old will ride in the 2009 World Championship on an Aspar Aprilia after his current team would not receive funding.

And Smith admitted: "I have nothing to lose but go for the win.

"I have two more races with the team and I so want to thank them with a win," added the teenager.

Smith will next be in action at the Malaysian Grand Prix on 19 October before the season's finale in Valencia on 26 October.
