Hickman is racing in the National Superstock championship

Lincolnshire racers Rob Frost and Peter Hickman have been handed wildcard rides in the support races for the World Superbikes round at Brands Hatch.

Frost will compete on the Buff Racing Triumph in the World Supersport race at the Kent circuit on Sunday 3 August.

Hickman will race in the European Superstock 1000 class, in which he had planned to contest the whole season.

Hickman said: "I am really looking forward to it and seeing how I go against the top guys in Europe."

Lincoln twins Alex and Sam Lowes will also be at Brands Hatch as they continue their season in the European Superstock 600 Championships.

Sam goes into the meeting having recorded his best finish of the season with 12th place in the previous round at Brno in the Czech republic, while Alex is yet to finish in the points.
