Toseland will be competing in his last Superbikes race |
World Superbikes championship leader James Toseland says he only has victory on his mind as he goes into the final round of races this weekend. The Briton won the 2004 world title at Magny Cours in France and hopes for a repeat on Sunday in his last Superbikes races before moving to MotoGP in 2008.
"This has been one of the most up and down rollercoasters of a championship I've competed in," he said.
"But I go to France with only one goal, to win a second world title."

Ten Kate Honda rider Toseland, who turns 27 two days before the vital races, holds a 29-point lead over Suzuki's Max Biaggi going into the weekend.
The Italian said he would not let the excitement of the season finale put him off the job of winning.
"This will be an interesting weekend for sure and I will be doing my best to put pressure on Toseland throughout," he said.
"He is an experienced rider, but anything can happen in racing and I want to be a position to capitalise on any mistakes."
The other player in the game is third-placed Noriyugi Haga, four points behind Biaggi in third place.
He has finished third for the last three seasons in a row, and said he would like nothing more than to produce a big shock.
"Magny-Cours is going to be a real animal fight for the win," he said.
"Toseland, Biaggi, Troy Bayliss, Troy Corser and I are all looking at that top step with determination.
"It's going to come down to who wants it the most and who has the best set-up. But I plan to spoil everyone else's party."
