Gordon Crockard lies second in the British championship

The Newtownards rider took sixth overall and 30 points from the two races, which lifts him to 16th place in the championship standings.

Crockard was seventh in race one and improved to fifth place in race two.

"I worked hard on my starts in both races and had I qualified better than 23rd then who knows, maybe I could have run at the front," said Crockard.
