Gordon Crockard lies second in the British motocross championship after taking third and fourth places in the third round of the series at Lyng. The Newtownards rider was fourth in race one which was won by Brad Anderson and third in race two. Ken De Dycker had a disappointing day and lost his lead in the series to Scot Billy Mackenzie. Martin Barr finished in an encouraging fifth position in race one of the MX2 class.
