Adrian Archibald won two races at the 2003 TT races |
New Zealander Bruce Anstey dominated Monday's practice sessions at the Isle of Man TT. The Kiwi was fastest in three categories with his best speed a superb 124.16mph in the Formula One class.
"These speeds augur well for me," said Anstey, who rides for the Ulster-based TAS Suzuki team.
His team-mate Adrian Archibald was fastest in the production 600 class but Robert Dunlop was third behind Chris Palmer and Ian Lougher in the 125s.
Anstey finished just ahead of Ian Lougher and John McGuinness in the Formula One stats.
It was the same top-two in the Production 1000cc with Archibald third fastest.
Anstey also topped the junior 600cc class ahead of John McGuinness and Dubliner Martin Finnegan.
Archibald's top time of 118.08mph put him ahead of Enniskillen rider Richard Britton in the production 600cc class.
Ryan Farquhar managed to get in a few practice laps although a few minor technical problems, meant that he didn't make the top three in any of the categories.
