Button craves Monaco crown
Jenson Button
BAR's Jenson Button has set his sights on notching up his maiden Grand Prix victory in Monaco next weekend.

The in-form British driver was forced to miss last season's race after a high-speed crash during practice but is vowing to make no mistakes this time.

"I'd love to win any Grand Prix but Monaco more than Silverstone really because of what happened there last year," said the 24-year-old.

"My confidence is sky-high and I think it will be a good race for us."

It's a real buzz driving round Monaco

Button has made an encouraging start to the season, stepping onto the podium three times - including the runners-up spot in San Marino.

The Frome-born driver lives in Monaco and believes that his knowledge of the tight and tricky circuit could give him an edge over his rivals.

"I really do enjoy driving around Monaco," said Button.

"It is a crazy circuit. The barriers are so high, the circuit feels so narrow, it's very bumpy and all the corners are blind.

"It's a real buzz driving round there."
