| Frentzen hints at Jordan return ![]() Frentzen was sacked by Jordan in 2001 Heinz-Harald Frentzen has hinted that he could return to Jordan if Arrows fail to survive after this Formula One season. Jordan sacked Frentzen just before last year's German Grand Prix. But team sponsors Deutsche Post tried to get him back as a replacement for the injured Giancarlo Fisichella at last week's French Grand Prix after Arrows failed to qualify. Both Fisichella and Takuma Sato are contracted to Jordan for 2003, but Frentzen said: "I have to say, Deutsche Post is quite keen to have a German driver. "But I think to go back to Eddie's team there has to be something sorted which is quite important: I didn't sack Eddie Jordan, Eddie sacked me." Frentzen, who is involved in court action over his Jordan dismissal in 2001, praised the team's new technical duo of Gary Anderson and Henri Durand. "They are two people who I really think are good for the team. I have great faith in them." |
