Harvey's third place in race three was his second podium finish of the season |
Lincolnshire's Jack Harvey took three top-six finishes in the British F3 International series at Paul Ricard. The 18-year-old Carlin driver was fifth in Saturday's opener at the French track and sixth in race two on Sunday. He then finished fourth in race three but was promoted to third after a rival was penalised for causing a collision. Harvey said: "We've had a really strong weekend, the best so far. We had a tricky start to the season but the team have made another big step forward." He added: "Our qualifying pace has been solid and our race pace has been really good throughout the weekend. "We came to Paul Ricard on the back of a win in Germany and we've definitely continued to carry the momentum we had from there."
