Harvey is contesting his first season in Formula Three

Lincolnshire racing driver Jack Harvey has won his first race in the Formula 3 international series.

The 18-year-old from, Bassingham, led home the field in the second race at the Nurburgring in Germany.

He told BBC Lincolnshire: "My target was to be on the podium by half-way through the season and I have done that - it's awesome."

"A lot of hard work goes into the weekend and it's a really great feeling to have a win again."

After seventh and 14th-placed finishes in the other races this weekend Harvey is 14th in the standings.
