Lincoln City have signed striker Jamie Taylor from Eastbourne Borough on a two-year deal.
The 28-year-old, who has had spells at AFC Wimbledon and Aldershot, scored 15 goals for Eastbourne in the Blue Square Bet Premier last season.
"I've played here once and I've just walked into the ground and it looks even bigger. I can't wait," Taylor told BBC Lincolnshire.
Taylor is boss Steve Tilson's first new signing since the Imps' relegation.
And the frontman said he was excited by other players the Imps are planning to sign.
"He (Tilson) has told me a few names and I was quite impressed, hence the reason I signed," he added.
Danny Hone, Andy Hutchinson and James Wilson have already put pen to paper on one-year deals to stay at Sincil Bank.
No offers have come in for the five players put on the transfer list by Tilson at the end of the season.
