The Isle of Man Government has announced that a clean emissions race will again be part of the TT event programme in 2011. The TT Zero will be held over one lap of the Mountain Course and will be open to clean emission motorcycles. The first zero emissions race, run by private company TTXGP, was held in 2009 but the Manx government ran the event themselves last year. American Mark Miller won the 2010 TT Zero, riding for Oregon's Moto Czysz. Miller won by one minute and 58 seconds, averaging a speed of 96.82mph.
