Jelley finished third in the drivers' championship

Leicester driver Stephen Jelley was proud of his team's efforts this season after two successes in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.

Jelley claimed two wins and two pole positions for Team Parker in the final round at Brands Hatch on Sunday.

The 28-year-old told BBC Radio Leicester: "Team Parker have done me proud this year.

"It was a bit of a late deal in the first place but times like this make it really sweet."

The result in the season finale meant Jelley finished third in the drivers' Championship.

He said: "I don't know why I've saved it up for the last one for the double win but it's been really good.

"This time last year I didn't know what I was going to do after coming out of the British Touring Car Championship and was worried I might not be doing anything.

"To get in such a great championship and win races is absolutely fantastic."
