Knight is also the 2010 British Enduro Sprint Champion |
David Knight was crowned British Enduro Champion with one round still remaining on Saturday, after taking a commanding victory in the Dyfi Enduro. The Manx rider stormed to two commanding day wins to wrap up the title in style. "It's been a great event for me and of course winning another British title is always good," said Knight. Knight has topped each and every day of this year's championship on board his 525 KTM. He added: "I recently signed to race for KTM for the next two years, which I'm thrilled about, so it is a double celebration." Fellow Manxman Alex Rockwell was forced to retire on Saturday but came back strong with an impressive fifth place on Sunday, for the MPS Racing team. Meanwhile, Gas Gas UK Enduro Team rider Daniel McCanney won the experts class. His test times were so good he would have finished in the top five overall. Knight and Rockwell will now head to Greece for the next round of the EWC.
