Plymouth Devils defeated King's Lynn to win the national league pairs title at Newport on Saturday. Devils' duo Nicki Glanz and Mark Simmonds finished top of their group after Glanz won the first three heats and Simmonds took the final race. The Plymouth duo faced King's Lynn's Simon Lambert and Adam Lowe in the final, who had won all four of their group races. But Plymouth rode ahead to win a maximum 7-2 advantage, and the title.
