Lee Richardson helped Lakeside win the KO Cup in 2009 |
Lakeside Hammers will be without their number one rider Lee Richardson for Wednesday's trip to Poole. The 31-year-old pulled out of a meeting for his Swedish club Elit Vetlanda on Tuesday because of sickness. Lakeside have called in Coventry Bee's lead rider and fellow Briton Chris Harris as a replacement. Finland's Joonas Kylmakorpi is on standby in case Richardson does not recover in time for Friday's match with Belle Vue. The news comes on the same day that Richardson was named in Rob Lyon's Great Britain team for the Speedway World Cup at King's Lynn on 26 July.
