Stoke Potters promoter seeks respectable finish

Stoke Potters promoter Dave Tattum believes they can achieve a respectable finish in the Premier League.

Stoke are currently 11th in the table but have struggled with injuries to key riders throughout the season.

"It's been a disappointing first half of the season for us, in which we've had to make changes to our starting line-up," Tattum said.

"I'm looking for a much improved second half of the season with a respectable finish in the Premier League."

He continued: "We should have a full side starting against Newcastle [at Loomer Road on Saturday], which will be for the first time since the beginning of April, and I feel that having a full side will help us.

"We have had some good guests but there's nothing like having your own one to seven taking to the track.

"We have only ridden just over a quarter of the season so far so we have plenty of matches to turn things around and I really don't think many teams will relish coming to Loomer Road for the rest of the campaign."
