Adrian Lewis is hopeful of success at the World Series of Darts Festival, which starts in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The 25-year-old, from Stoke-on-Trent, told BBC Radio Stoke: "I'm getting a lot more consistent now and hopefully I can bring a trophy back home."

Lewis has enjoyed a decent year, going out in the quarter-finals of the PDC World Championship and the UK Open.

The event will be the final chance for players to prepare for the World Matchplay in Blackpool in July.

Lewis, who is yet to win a major tournament in the PDC, continued: "I've bumped into Phil Taylor in every quarter-final I've played on television this year, but it will change sooner or later.

"The Matchplay is probably my favourite tournament and whoever is going to win the title will have to beat Phil en route."
