Jackson's best finish of the season so far was 11th at Brands Hatch

Lincoln rider Lee Jackson says he cannot wait to race at the revamped Silverstone circuit in round five of the British Superstock Championship.

The races on Saturday and Sunday, in support of the British Moto GP, will be the first time the new layout has been used in a domestic series.

Jackson told BBC Lincolnshire: "The circuit looks really good, very fast but with some tricky sections.

"It's a massive venue now and I'm looking forward to racing."

Buildbase Kawasaki rider Jackson, whose best finish of the season was 11th in the opening round at Brands Hatch, added: "The good thing is that this weekend we've got two races so double the chances.

"I haven't raced on the new track before but I learn circuits quite well so hopefully I can score as many points as possible."
