Ipswich Witches team boss Pete Simmons says he will keep looking to improve his team after a fourth home defeat of the Elite League season. Swindon Robins left the Foxhall Stadium with three points on Thursday evening after a 47-46 win. Ipswich are bottom of the table, but Simmons told BBC Radio Suffolk: "We're going to be looking to strengthen. "We're out there looking for someone to make us stronger and if [we find someone] we'll make it happen." Simmons will have to wait until the rider averages are updated on 1 July before he can make changes, however. Before that, Ipswich take on Belle Vue at home on 24 June, and Simmons acknowledged: "We definitely need to pick something up then. "We'll go back to the drawing board to see where we can right the wrongs. "It's quite clear for the public to see where we struggled tonight and things have got to turn around quickly." Simmons blames inconsistency for the team's poor results this season. "Riders who rode well tonight didn't ride well on other occasions," he said. "It's the same old story as we don't seem to be clicking all together. "It's not good enough and to be losing at home again is very disappointing."
