Ales Dryml joins Ipswich Witches in team reshuffle

Ipswich Witches have signed Ales Dryml to bolster their team after a poor start to the Elite League campaign.

Dryml, 30, replaces Claus Vissing who has been released after failing to score at Peterborough on Monday.

Ipswich director of speedway Chris Louis said the move was made in order to try and find consistency.

"(Dryml) has been interested in joining Ipswich for a number of years and his enthusiasm and keenness persuaded us to give him a run in the team," he said.

Vissing's release comes just 10 weeks into a season which has seen Ipswich slip to the foot of the Elite League table and Louis admits his patience ran out with the Danish rider.

"We were hoping for a good points return from Claus at Peterborough, a track he knows well, but we were very disappointed with his performance," Louis added.
