Dudley Heathens expect one of their toughest tests of their debut year in the National League when they host Mildenhall on Tuesday evening. The Heathens have made a strong start to the season, including a big home win over Scunthorpe last time out. "We're expecting a tough meeting as they have a good top two in Jerran Hart and Barrie Evans," said Heathens team manager Will Pottinger. "Joe Jacobs at reserve looks a decent prospect for the future too." Jon Armstrong is likely to be making his final appearance for Dudley with Ben Taylor expected to return from injury in time to face Bournemouth on 25 May. | We are confident we can pick up a win and three vital league points Heathens boss Will Pottinger |
It will be the Heathens' third home meeting to be staged on Wolves' track at Monmore Green, and Pottinger feels they are getting to grips with the circuit. "Our riders seem to be getting more dialled into the track with every meeting, so we are confident that we can pick up a win and three vital league points," he noted.
