Woffinden returns to Monmore after Saturday's Swedish Grand Prix |
Wolverhampton's unbeaten home record in the Elite League could be tested by Lakeside on Monday. Although the Hammers have already suffered a defeat at Monmore Green in the Elite Shield this season, Wolves expect a tough test. "We're taking nothing for granted and our target is for three league points," said new skipper Tai Woffinden. "We rode well against them early on and it was nice to win the Shield, but we will treat them with respect." Chris Kerr will again take the reserve berth for Wolves after starting the season in excellent form, while Lakeside are relying on an improved showing from heat leaders Krszyztof Kasprzak and Adam Shields. "We are in a good position in the league and we're looking good for the top four, but there is a long way to go," Woffinden added. The tapes go up at Monmore Green at 1930 BST.
