Somerset Rebels are ready for Friday's Premier Trophy test |
Somerset Rebels will be looking for revenge when they launch their home Premier Trophy campaign against Rye House Rockets on Friday. The Rebels will be aiming to reverse last weekend's narrow 47-43 defeat at Rye House. An away point, awarded when the visiting team loses by six points or less, was little consolation. Jay Herne, who recently suffered a wedge fracture in his vertebrae, will again miss out for the Rebels. Rye House have a familiar look about them, with Chris Neath, Linus Sundström and Luke Bowen all returning this year and Stefan Ekberg back after being sidelined by injury all last season. Somerset fans will also remember the Rockets' Jordan Frampton, who was a member of the Rebels team which won the Premier League KO Cup in 2008.
