Italian manufacturer Ducati is set to return to the Isle of Man TT with a fully supported effort for the first time in seven years. Michael Rutter will ride Ducati machinery in four of the five solo races for his British Superbike team ridersmotorcycles.com. Rutter who won the 1998 Junior TT said he was delighted to be returning to the event with Ducati. "I'm really excited and optimistic about our chances," he said. Rutter's recent outings at the TT in 2007 and 2009 were blighted by injury and machinery issues. The 37-year-old added: "Last year didn't go to plan with all the problems, so I'm eager to come back with a fully competitive package and show what we can really do."
