Jakobsen has been riding at Stoke for two seasons

Under-21 World Cup star Klaus Jakobsen has joined Peterborough Panthers for the new Elite League season.

The 20-year-old Dane will be used as Adam Roynon's doubling up partner.

But Jakobsen will only be available when his Premier League side Stoke Potters do not have meetings under his agreed two-way contract.

"It's a big season for me, it's my last year in the Under-21s and I have put a lot of money into it to make sure this season works," he said.

"I'm going out to fight for everything. I want to prove what I can do and hopefully go into the Elite League only next season."
