Peterborough Panthers have signed Australian teenager Dakota North and will loan him out next season.

The 18-year-old had a brief but impressive National League spell at Mildenhall Fen Tigers cut short last season with a back injury.

Panthers' new director of speedway Peter Oakes said: "Peterborough had a terrific reputation as the home of some tremendous Australian riders.

"Dak has the ability to go a long way. He's a signing for the future."
