Mildenhall Fen Tigers have lost the services of Australian rider Dakota North for the rest of the season after learning he suffered a back injury. The 19-year-old was hurt after crashing while riding for an Australasian Under-21 team against Great Britain. North initially thought he had suffered bruising but further tests have revealed broken bones in his back. Mildenhall boss John Adams said: "This is a massive blow for us and the lad, we wish him the best in his recovery." "He has real talent and has been a pleasure to work with." North made an instant impact on his arrival at West Row with double-figure scores in the two meetings he rode for the Fen Tigers.
