 Bates rode for Plymouth Devils last season |
Mildenhall Fen Tigers have completed their 2010 line-up with the signing of 19-year-old Matt Bates. The Exeter-based rider, who rode for Plymouth Devils in 2009, joins on an average of 6.00 and will slot into the side at second string. Fen Tigers co-chairman Ray Mascall said: "We believe Matt will progress with us and we look forward to see him develop further at West Row." The arrival of Bates means Joe Jacobs will start the season at reserve.
