Christodoulou enjoyed an encouraging debut season in F3

Sutton Coldfield racer Riki Christodoulou has been named rookie of the year after an encouraging debut season in Formula 3.

The 21-year-old finished fifth in his first campaign in F3 that included a win, two second places and a third in the 20-race series.

"It's gratifying to get this award," Christodoulou said.

"But once the chequered flag waved in the final race much of my thoughts have been about next year."
