Christodoulou currently lies 4th in the F3 standings

Sutton Coldfield's Riki Christodoulou going into the latest rounds of the Formula 3 International series looking to build on his first win.

The 21-year-old took the chequered flag in the last round at Snetterton on 5 July and is eager to keep his form.

"Getting my first F3 win under my belt is a massive boost. It confirms that I have the ability and speed at this level," Christodoulou said.

"This will be the first time I've raced a F3 car at Donnington."

Donnington hosts the 11th and 12th rounds of the championship and Christodoulou is determined to mark turning 21 recently in style.

"I've scored podium results (at Donnington) in the Formula Renault category but another victory would be the perfect way to celebrate my 21st birthday," he said.

Qualifying takes place on Saturday with two 30-minute races on Sunday.
