Christodoulou was runner-up in round four of the F3 series at Silverstone

Sutton Coldfield's Riki Christodoulou lies third in his debut season in Formula 3 after securing his first podium finish at Silverstone.

Christodoulou, 20, finished fourth in the first race - round three of the championship - and claimed second spot in the second, round four.

"I'm obviously delighted with these two results which moves me up to third in the series," Christodoulou said.

"The race pace is there but I'll be working on my race starts."

After finishing fifth and sixth in his first two drives in Formula 3, Christodoulou has 39 points after the first four rounds of the championship, 29 behind leader Daniel Ricciardo from Australia.

The next two rounds take place at Rockingham later in May.
