Keothavong broke into the top 50 for the first time earlier this year

British number one Anne Keothavong will prepare for Wimbledon by playing in the AEGON Classic in Birmingham next month.

The Londoner will be joined by Russian world number 37 Maria Kirilenko and India's Sania Mirza as she looks to get some vital grass-court practice.

Keothavong, who is currently 53rd in the world rankings, has had a recent dip in form, after she broke into the top 50 earlier this year.

The AEGON Classic will be contested at the Edgbaston Priory Club from 8 June.
