Priaulx off the Button in Beijing

Race of Champions
The event was held in the Olympic Bird's Nest Stadium in Beijing

Andy Priaulx was knocked out by his close friend, new Formula One World Champion Jenson Button in the Race of Champions in China.

The three-time World Touring Car Champion made it through to Wednesday's quarter-finals in Beijing.

Sweden's Mattias Ekstrom went on to win the overall event.

But Priaulx is determined to be back next year for the event which pits the best racing drivers against one another in the same cars on the same track.

Guernseyman Priaulx beat Australian motorcyclist Mick Doohan and American rally champion Travis Pastrana to get to the quarter-finals.
