Knight was left hugely disappointed after his forced withdrawal

David Knight was forced to withdraw from the opening round of the 2010 FIM Indoor Enduro World Cup in Sheffield on Saturday with breathing problems.

Knight had started the event well and finished the first of the three finals fourth but could not continue.

The Isle of Man rider said: "I've not been feeling well all week and I just couldn't breath out there.

"I can't explain how disappointed I am especially as it was a rare occasion to race in front of the UK fans."

The event was dominated by Poland's Taddy Blazusiak who won all three finals.
