Knight was fourth overall after day one

David Knight crashed out of the opening test on the second day of the International Six Days Enduro in Figueira De Foz, Portugal on Tuesday.

Knight led the E2 class after the first day, sitting just four seconds off the overall lead in fourth.

The Manx rider was able to ride back to the pit area but was taken to hospital for precautionary X-rays on his back.

Knight's press officer Jonty Edmunds said: "He's OK. He went to hospital for a check up, but it's nothing serious."
