Knight built up a 49-second advantage on day two |
David Knight warmed up for the International Six Days Enduro in Portugal with a superb performance at the Natterjack Enduro on Sunday. Despite severe clutch problems on day one, the Manx rider dominated the second day of the Hampshire event to lead by 49 seconds. "The first day was a complete disaster," said Knight. "We got the clutch fixed for Sunday and I didn't have any problems or make any mistakes, it was a great day." Knight, who had not raced at the Natterjack Enduro for eight years, added: "Ending the British Championship with a winning result is fantastic and great practice for the six days."
