Knight was riding the Kawasaki 450cc

Manx enduro rider David Knight claimed victory at the final round of the 2009 World Enduro Championships in the GP of France in St Flour on Sunday.

The Kawasaki rider battled hard during the two day competition to top the E2 class.

Despite changing machinery half-way through the season, Knight is delighted with his team's progress.

"With everything that's happened, it's the first time I've felt really been able to focus on racing," he said.

This win really means a lot."
