Ramsey make it two wins from two in South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Three on Saturday with a 36-17 victory against Holmes Chapel at Mooragh Park.

The teams were tied 12-12 at the interval before an inspired second-half performance from Ramsey earned the northerners the points.

Will Keenan (two), Darryn Thompson(two), Aneurin Pritchard and John Wooton scored the Ramsey tries.

Fintan Cummins added two conversions to maintain the northerners perfect start.

Meanwhile, Vagabonds continued to struggle as they were beaten 25-5 at home by Bowdon in Division One.

Elsewhere, Douglas lost 20-10 at Marple in Division Two.
