Edinburgh Monarchs hold a 13-point lead over the King's Lynn Stars after the first leg of the Premier Trophy final. The win could have been even more dominant, with the home side leading by 16 points after 10 heats. Lynn's teenage sensation Darcy Ward narrowed the deficit with a tactical ride win, supported by Linus Eklof. Eklof emerged as Lynn's top-scorer with paid-15 points, and the Stars will feel confident of overturning Edinburgh's lead in Wednesday's return in Norfolk.
