Plymouth have gone top of the National Trophy after Friday's comprehensive win over the Isle of Wight. The Devils came out on top in 13 of the 15 heats, Kyle Hughes, Mark Simmonds and skipper Seemond Stephens all ending the match unbeaten. Paul Starke was also on top form, only dropping one point in heat eight when he was beaten by Grant Tregoning. The only other win for the Islanders was in heat 12 when Dean Felton beat Matt Bates to the line.
