Plymouth Devils moved a step closer to ensuring a National League play-off place with a 49-43 home win over leaders Bournemouth on Friday evening. The result sees the Devils stay third in the table, with the top four teams all moving into the play-offs. Kyle Hughes was the pick of the Devils riders, picking up a six-ride maximum of 18 points. Skipper Seemond Stephens won his first four races, whilst Paul Starke and David Gough provided strong support. Kyle Newman was the pick of the riders for Bournemouth with 13 points. Despite the defeat, Bournemouth retain their lead at the top of the National League.
