Plymouth Devils increased their chances of a place in the National League play-offs with a convincing home win against Mildenhall on Friday evening. The Devils are now fourth, in the final play-off spot, but have an eight-point lead over fifth-placed Newport. Mark Simmonds scored a maximum for the Devils, whilst his partner Paul Starke was unbeaten. Skipper Seemond Stephens and Kyle Hughes provided strong support with only two defeats between them. For Mildenhall, James Birkinshaw was the pick of the riders, picking up 14 points in his five rides.
