Plymouth Devils strengthened their bid for a place in the National League play-offs with a 61-30 home win over the Isle of Wight. Kyle Hughes won all five rides and Mark Simmonds had a paid maximum from his four starts at Friday's meeting. Skipper Seemond Stephens only dropped one point, losing out to former Devil Ben Hopwood. The win means Plymouth stay fourth, but with a five-point advantage over fifth-placed Newport.
