 Alastair Seeley set a new outright lap record in Tuesday's meeting |
British Superstock series leader Alastair Seeley earned a Superbike double at Tuesday's Irish Championship meeting at Kirkistown. Carrickfergus rider Seeley finished ahead of David Haire and Mark Johnston in both superbike races. Former MotoGP star Jeremy McWilliams took second places in both supersport races which were won by Glenn Irwin. Mark Lunney won both 250cc races and also earned a 125 success while Nigel Percy won the second 125 race. Lee Hill took victories in both Supertwins races. Seeley also set a new outright lap record during Tuesday's meeting with a time of 55.917 seconds.
