Seeley takes Bishopscourt double

Alastair Seeley was a double Superbike winner at Bishopscourt

Alastair Seeley secured a brace of wins at the Irish Superbike Championship meeting at Bishopscourt on Saturday.

The Carrickfergus rider won both big bike races, with James Dickson second on both occasions and Mark Johnston and Richard Rea taking a third spot apiece.

Glenn Irwin won both Supersport 600 races and Mark Lunney was a double winner in the 250cc races.

Paul Robinson won the only 125cc event from Lunney and Robert English and Lee Hill claimed two Supertwins successes.

Irwin won the first Supersport race from Jonny Buckley and Kirk Jamison and came home ahead of Alistair Kirk and Buckley in the second.

Chris McAloran and Robinson were second and third in the opening 250 class and Derek McLaughlin and Thomas Lawlor followed Lunney home in race two.
