Nicholls is in his third spell with hometown club Ipswich

Ipswich Witches finally reversed a run of eight defeats with a 49-41 win over Wolverhampton at Foxhall Stadium.

Scott Nicholls top scored with 13 points in his first home meeting since rejoining the Witches on loan from Coventry until the end of the season.

Witches team manager Pete Simmons said: "It's good to be back in the winners circle, we'd forgotten what it was like to ride in the parade at the end."

Ipswich complete a busy week with a trip to Coventry on Friday.
